Energy Efficiency Expo in Ijevan

As part of the marketing campaign of the “Small-Scale Energy-Efficiency Solutions for the Rural People in the Republic of Armenia” initiative, an “Energy Efficiency Expo” was organised in Ijevan, to promote the awareness-raising and application of energy-efficient technologies and practices among local communities and households.

During the expo, 10 booths were opened, presenting energy-efficient stoves, solar panels, locally produced solar water heaters, various materials for home heating, and biomass briquettes. All booths were dedicated to various energy-efficient products and information materials. Banks were also represented, presenting the population with different financial opportunities available through loans and other programs.

The initiative was implemented by German Sparkassenstiftung Armenia (DSIK) within the framework of "EU4Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in Armenian Communities" Project, funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH as a part of the “ECOserve” programme.
